Music & Concerts
Stand among the vines on an early evening, as a recording of Bach drifts across the hills, and you understand this place at once. Music is part of daily life here: on most days classical music sounds among the vines and at the edges of the forest — quiet, measured, befitting the place.
The concert venues
Performances take place in different parts of the estate: in the garden in front of the château, in the historic rooms, and on the finest evenings at the edge of the forest. Each place gives the music a different sound.
Indoors
The Salle de Dégustation
On cooler evenings we play indoors — in the Salle de Dégustation, where a grand piano stands and part of the floor is glass, with the historic cellar beneath it. Through the glass wall you look into the barrel room. Here wine and music are at home in the same space.
Several times a year there is music here, in a small circle and by personal invitation.
Fonds aux Conseillans
The Fonds aux Conseillans is in formation: it will support young musicians and strengthen the Franco-German exchange through scholarships and intimate concert evenings.
They are evenings we are very fond of.
